Columbia’s Leading Antisemite

Cameron Jones is an organizer for Columbia University’s Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP). In addition to being the leader of the anti-Zionist JVP, Jones also participated in events with the school’s Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), including the pro-Hamas encampment on campus. Cameron Jones also chanted pro-genocide slogans at anti-Israel rallies co-sponsored by terrorists and made light of the attack on Israelis in Amsterdam that some call a pogrom.

Jones named himself as a member and organizer for Columbia University’s JVP as part of a lawsuit against Columbia for suspending JVP and SJP.

Jones was featured in many different outlets talking about his experience at the pro-Hamas encampments at Columbia. He is featured in a TikTok video from the encampment. In a clip posted by NBC, Jones said, “Columbia’s attempt to oppress the movement only strengthens our resolve.”

Undated footage also shows Jones saying, “students and faculty worldwide to escalate their protests” and “You must create your own campus agitation.”

Jones has long been an anti-Israel activist, even before it became trendy on college campuses. On October 14, 2022, Jones participated in a Within Our Lifetime rally.

At the rally, Jones, along with other participants, chanted genocidal slogans, such as the Arabic version of “From Water to Water! Palestine is Arab,” Canary Mission’s review of the footage claims.

Jones also chanted, “There is only one solution! Intifada, revolution!” along with “Resistance is justified when people are occupied!” and “Resistance is justified when people are colonized!”

According to a review of footage from Canary Mission, Jones shouted, “Long live the intifada” during another anti-Israel rally on April 8, 2023. The intifada refers to violent uprisings against Israel.

Jones also attempted to downplay the attack on Israeli soccer fans in Amsterdam in November 2024 by saying, “fun fact antisemitic pogroms are not usually started by israelis assaulting random people who then have to defend themselves.”
